Hockey Synthetic Grass
- Quartz sand infill stabilizes the turf structure to provide durability and easier maintenance during long-term use.
- Without the need for an expensive irrigation system, it offers a cost-effective solution for projects seeking reliable hockey performance with lower installation requirements.
- The 19 mm pile height and fibrillated tape yarn structure provide moderate ball speed and stable rolling performance that supports ground passing and ball-control playing styles.
- The soft PE yarn and fibrillated surface structure create a softer layer with cushioning effect that helps reduce abrasion risk during falls.
- Optional cooling yarn technology helps reduce surface temperatures during summer conditions.
- Compared with natural grass fields, it requires less routine care without frequent watering, mowing, or fertilizing.

SDH-19 synthetic hockey grass is developed as a sand-filled turf system using fibrillated PE tape yarn. The open fibrillated structure effectively locks quartz sand infill in place. The stabilized sand layer helps maintain an even playing surface during regular use. The dense turf layer is built with a 19 mm pile height and 3/16" gauge construction. It helps prevent the ball from sinking between the yarns and supports consistent ball movement.
The sand-filled system provides a durable and practical option for hockey fields with stable performance and easier maintenance. Compared with water-based hockey pitches, SDH-19 synthetic grass offers a more economical choice for hockey fields with different budget considerations with no requirement of a dedicated irrigation system.
