STH13E water-based artificial hockey turf is developed for water-based hockey pitch systems, featuring PE KDK yarn with a unique three-dimensional structure. Through the KDK process, the yarn is woven, heat-set, and separated to create dense and irregular micro-wave curls that reduce directional flattening and help maintain a consistent ball path during play. Water is able to spread evenly across the hydrophilic yarn surface of the turf. It creates a stable water film that reduces surface friction and supports faster ball movement with improved control. The water layer also helps minimize the effects of thermal expansion and contraction, allowing the turf surface to maintain better flatness during long-term water-based operation.
